A simple process, the best possible outcome.
When you get in touch with Dreamworks Bikes, we have one simple mission, to help you build the bike you are dreaming of.
How it works
Initial consultation either in person or over video call to discuss initial thoughts, options and budget. We will discuss riding, possible frame options, groupset preferences, riding goals, injury history, paint schemes and much more.
At the same or a subsequent time we can look at your current bike, fit and position to help generate a picture of how you ride and what possible geometries are going to work best for the riding you do and the riding you want in the future. Importantly, there will be coffee and biscuits.

At the same time we will get a full set of body measurements and a full assessment will be made of your flexibility, joint stability, movement patterns and other biomechanical considerations.
All of this together will give us the most comprehensive picture of you as a rider and help guide our collaborative decisions.
We then stay in contact whilst we zero in on the final build and products. Often it is best to get the frame decision made and place that order. At this stage a 50% deposit is payable against your budget to get the frame order under way.
Once this is done we can start ordering and collating parts ready to go onto the frame once it's here.

Once this is done we can start ordering and collating parts ready to go onto the frame once it's here. Where possible, we'll even send you update photos from your frame during the build/paint process.
Once everything has landed we promise to build your bike as quickly as possible whilst maintaining incredibly exacting standards. So nothing is rushed, every detail is focused on from things like using special methods to make sure no wires or hoses rattle in the frame, to making sure every component is tightened to the perfect torque and bar-tape is perfectly overlapped. The build list is long, but we go through everything so you don't have to!
Then Comes the Best Part:
Handover Day!
This will be planned at a time to suit you, it includes a full fitting onto the new bike. This is where we bring all our bike fitting experience and fine-tune everything to give you the perfect ride on your own bespoke perfect machine.
This is where everything truly comes together and you leave with your dream-build, the only bike in the world built to your exact specification in partnership with our exacting standards.
There is also a chance for you to have the first ride on your new bike with us. We can ride straight from the fitting out the door or we can arrange the inaugural ride for a day or so later on your favourite roads.
